Job summary

The Recruiting Hive in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Training & Development Manager to lead company-wide onboarding, technical skills development, and compliance training. You will partner with department leaders to create effective training programs that improve safety, quality, and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of training experience, a Bachelor's degree, hands-on ability to deliver hands-on technical training, and strong capabilities in evaluating training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in HR, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in employee training or L&D.
• Experience delivering training across multiple departments or shifts.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety training requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic shop math is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate onboarding programs and role-specific training.
• Deliver hands-on training and assess employee readiness.
• Develop training materials, SOPs, and job aids.
• Coordinate training for new equipment and process changes.
• Maintain training records and certifications for audit readiness.
