Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in employee training, learning and development.
• Experience delivering hands-on technical training.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety training requirements.
• Ability to read blueprints and basic shop math.
• Manufacturing/training experience in welding or metal fabrication is desirable.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop structured onboarding programs, training schedules, and role-specific checklists.
• Deliver and oversee onboarding across departments, ensuring understanding of responsibilities, procedures, quality, and safety.
• Conduct hands-on skills assessments and validate readiness.
• Develop ongoing training to strengthen technical proficiency and problem-solving.
• Coordinate training for new equipment, tooling, processes, and changes.
• Identify skill gaps with leadership and set training priorities.
• Maintain training materials, SOPs, job aids, and learning resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements.
