Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Training Manager to lead the Training Department across 1st and Swing Shift, directing 7 staff and coordinating with HSE, HR, Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering to align training with production needs.

You will develop structured technical training for new hires, manage certifications, and drive continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma principles to enhance performance and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; 5+ years in a similar role.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication, including presentation skills.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
• Expert knowledge and hands-on experience in training and development programs, curriculum design, and proficiency assessment.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with high volumes of changes and deadlines.
• Knowledge of contingent workforce is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Training Department across 1st and Swing Shift with ~7 direct reports.
• Coordinate training needs assessments and organizational development initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a skills/certification matrix; address staffing gaps.
• Measure training effectiveness via performance, quality results, and post-training evaluations.
• Collaborate with HR and Operations to develop recognition or incentive programs.
• Drive continuous improvement of training programs using Lean/Six Sigma principles.
• Partner with HR and Operations to review job roles and career paths.
