Qualifications

• Associate degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, is required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of experience coordinating or delivering training in a manufacturing environment is preferred; experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical, or another regulated industry is highly desirable.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, organization, and written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage employees in classroom and hands-on learning environments.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems and standard Microsoft Office applications, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule onboarding, technical, refresher, and qualification training for manufacturing employees while minimizing disruption to operations.
• Manage employee training plans, curricula, and qualification requirements to ensure they remain current and aligned with job responsibilities, procedures, and departmental needs.
• Administer the Learning Management System, including training assignments, completion tracking, employee qualification status, master data, and compliance reporting.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready training records in accordance with approved procedures, documentation standards, and record-retention requirements.
• Verify that employees complete required training and demonstrate competency before independently performing assigned work.
• Collaborate with supervisors and subject matter experts to develop, revise, and deliver effective training materials, assessments, and qualification activities.
• Provide supervisors and site leadership with timely reports on training completion, certification status, overdue assignments, and compliance trends.
• Conduct periodic reviews and spot audits of training records and LMS data, identify gaps, support corrective actions, and help maintain inspection readiness.
• Support internal and external audits by retrieving training documentation, responding to information requests, and assisting with the resolution of training-related observations.
• Promote continuous improvement by evaluating training effectiveness, identifying recurring skill gaps, and recommending enhancements to training content, delivery methods, and administrative processes.
