Where Troubleshooting Skills Meet Real Aircraft Systems
Every aircraft in the sky depends on components that were tested, verified, and proven reliable before they ever left the factory floor. Behind that reliability is someone who knows how to trace a failure to its actual cause, not just patch the symptom.
At Universal Avionics, our Manufacturing Test & Troubleshooting Engineers are that person. You'll work hands‑on with circuit cards, cable assemblies, and test systems, solving problems that directly affect the safety and performance of avionics used around the world.
At Universal Avionics, we develop advanced avionics, enhanced vision systems, and intelligent cockpit technologies that improve aviation safety and situational awareness worldwide.
For more than 40 years, Universal Avionics has been a trusted innovator in aerospace technology, supporting commercial airlines, business aviation, cargo operations, and special mission aircraft around the globe. As part of Elbit Systems, we combine the agility of a collaborative engineering organization with the strength and global reach of a leading aerospace and defense company.
Our Tucson, Arizona site is home to manufacturing, test engineering, and cross‑functional operations teams building and supporting these next‑generation avionics systems, an environment where hands‑on problem‑solvers work closely with design and quality engineering, and where the fixes you make on the floor directly shape product reliability.
As a Manufacturing Test & Troubleshooting Engineer, you'll be the technical link between Operations, Test Engineering, Process Engineering, Quality, and Design, troubleshooting hardware, software, and test issues, driving root cause investigations, and helping make sure every unit that leaves the floor meets the standard it was designed to.
Relocation assistance is available.
This role is based onsite in Tucson, Arizona due to the hands‑on nature of troubleshooting circuit card assemblies, supporting final assembly and test operations, and working directly with technicians, test fixtures, and production equipment.
