Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in engineering testing, scripting, and system integration to support manufacturing operations and cross-functional teams in Santa Clara, CA.

The role emphasizes fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and adherence to quality processes, with a pay range of $40–$43 per hour. Strong collaboration with Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Quality, NPI Engineering, and R&D is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with engineering testing, system integration, scripting, or troubleshooting from projects or work.
• Ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot hardware, software, and systems.
• Strong technical writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Support uninterrupted manufacturing operations and resolve issues as needed.
• Support system integration and testing activities in manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Associates and engineering partners to resolve issues affecting safety, quality, delivery, and production continuity.
• Investigate manufacturing test failures using structured troubleshooting and problem-solving methods.
• Troubleshoot test hardware, software, and system interfaces and document findings.
• Collaborate with Test Engineering, NPI Engineering, and Quality on permanent corrective actions.
• Document recurring failure modes and improve troubleshooting consistency.
• Support change controls, CAPAs, NCRs, and quality system activities.
• Participate in nonconformance investigations and root cause analysis.
• Support corrective and preventive action implementation.
• Ensure manufacturing documentation and activities comply with procedures and quality requirements.
