Job summary

SolarEdge, a global leader in smart energy tech, seeks a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support production line test ops at our Erda, UT site. You will help ramp and sustain production by applying hands-on expertise in electromechanical testing and cross‑functional collaboration.

Lead a small team, troubleshoot complex systems, monitor equipment, and drive yield improvements through data analysis and strategic initiatives aligned with R&D goals.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years on production lines with hands-on test experience.
• Ability to read electromechanical schematics and diagnose issues.
• Experience with electronics lab equipment and testing platforms.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers and technicians on the production line.
• Allocate tasks and foster a collaborative, high‑performance environment.
• Ensure readiness to meet production goals and quality standards.
• Supervise ATE operations on the production line.
• Troubleshoot electromechanical and system-level issues.
• Analyze production data to identify yield improvements.
• Implement initiatives aligned with R&D and corporate goals.
• Provide technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Recommend design modifications and repair strategies for electronics.
• Train on DOC‑TP, schematics, ATS, and ATPs.
• Support designers and users in understanding equipment and processes.
• Build and maintain a local knowledge center for troubleshooting.
