Job Overview

Manufacturing Test Engineer – RF Systems (Engineer Electronics) located in Rolling Meadows, IL. This role supports product testing in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, providing troubleshooting, test equipment design, and test procedure development for Radio Frequency systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate, design, and provide solutions for new or modified testing requirements.
• Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineering, Software & Firmware Engineering, Production Technician, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality organizations to meet contractual acceptance testing commitments.
• Generate and maintain or revise manufacturing acceptance testing procedures, environmental screening procedures and hardware drawings of test equipment and fixtures.
• Review quality metrics to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects.
• Collaborate with design engineering to achieve testability in new and updated product design.
• Interface and communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors and build strong professional relationships with other manufacturing disciplines.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or related STEM field with at least 2 years of relevant work experience; Master’s degree acceptable.
• Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power supplies, network analyzers, etc.
• Experience generating or interpreting schematics, drawings, and specifications.
• Active DoD Security Clearance.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior test equipment, fixture or prime hardware design experience.
• Software experience with C#, LabView, CVI, Java, C, C++.
• Experience with Electronic Warfare systems/hardware.
• Experience performing earned value/CAM efforts and project planning.

Salary Range

Primary Level Salary Range: $87,600.00 – $131,400.00.
