Job summary

Forge Atomics is hiring a Manager of Manufacturing & Test Engineering to establish and lead the team behind Ember, our first nuclear reactor. You will own production and test engineering, ensure safety, quality, and rate targets, and oversee equipment, facilities, staffing, and new product introduction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, production, manufacturing, or operations.
• 2+ years of direct leadership or management experience leading engineers.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, build, and lead a team of 10+ engineers and specialists spanning manufacturing engineering, test engineering, and factory operations.
• Lead the team through all phases of the product life cycle, from first prototype builds through rate production.
• Own the design, bring-up, operation, and continuous improvement of production cells and test stands across the factory.
