Job summary

BlueWorx Staffing is seeking a Test Engineer to optimize end-of-line and in-process test systems. You will perform statistical analysis to improve defect detection and troubleshoot electro-mechanical and hydraulic systems, designing calibration routines.

You will also evaluate new test equipment and data acquisition solutions to drive production quality and support new product launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1+ years in automated manufacturing with basic automotive electro-mechanical knowledge.
• Proficient with PLC and LabVIEW; data acquisition and instrumentation experience.
• Solid grasp of mechanics, physics, hydraulics, electronics, and applied statistics.

Responsibilities

• Improve end-of-line test equipment capability, reliability and capacity.
• Troubleshoot test machine issues; lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Interface with customers' engineering teams to validate final test strategies.
• Collaborate with production on test development for new product launches.
• Recommend equipment upgrades and preventive maintenance plans.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) policies.
