Job summary

Zoetis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support biologics manufacturing at our Charles City facility. This weekend shift role involves aseptic processing in a regulated cleanroom, following cGMPs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet daily production goals.

The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a team, and compliance with safety and quality procedures. Prior manufacturing or related experience is beneficial. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aseptic processing activities following cleanroom procedures and contamination controls.
• Execute manufacturing tasks per cGMPs, batch records, manufacturing directions, and SOPs.
• Set up, operate, monitor, and tear down production equipment used during manufacturing operations.
• Complete cGMP documentation accurately and maintain department records.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for production activities.
• Follow site safety, quality, and financial procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to meet daily goals.
• Wear cleanroom PPE, including Tyvek gowns and respiratory protection when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and other duties as assigned.

Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to wear required PPE, including cleanroom garments (Tyvek gown) and respirators when required.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.Must be able to frequently reach, bend, stoop, twist, push, pull, grip, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Must be able to work in an environment at varying temperatures.
• Must be able to work 40 hours scheduled, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
