Job Description

1. Update incoming seal records.
2. Clean seal components.
3. Maintain test cell sub-components data and storage locations.
4. Assemble dry gas seals into the test cell using proper tools, ensuring safety.
5. Keep records of bearing usage.
6. Troubleshoot seal assembly issues.
7. Install instrumentation on test cell and rig equipment.
8. Prepare and maintain documentation for test cell assembly.
9. Maintain high productivity as per supervisor directives.
10. Complete weekly 5S audits and actions.
11. Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
12. Train other technicians when needed.
13. Participate in daily SPQCD meetings.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Qualifications

Experience

• Minimum 2-3 years in Oil & Gas or rotating equipment industry.

Technical Skills

• Apprenticeship trained with relevant qualifications preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings is essential.
• Experience with fine measurements is advantageous.
• Gas Seal assembly/test experience is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement tools.

People Skills

• Effective communication in English, both written and spoken.
• High motivation and willingness to learn.

Salary Range: $37,000 — $56,000 USD
