Role Overview

The Maintenance MultiCraft Technician maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, PLC, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.

Shift Details

2nd Shift: 2pm-10:30pm CST.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform duties safely, report hazards immediately.
• Start up and shut down equipment per operational and safety procedures.
• Perform mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, specifications, and instructions.
• Service electronic equipment, check, test, and replace faulty components.
• Provide technical support on PLCs and network interfaces.
• Develop programs and documentation for control systems training.
• Maintain communication and power distribution cables.
• Promote safety practices, including PPE use.
• Assist in maintaining building systems like heating and cooling.
• Disassemble, move, and install equipment as needed.
• Maintain tools, work area, logs, and records.
• Perform preventive maintenance and lubrication schedules.
• Train others and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or Associate’s degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or industrial environment; 3+ years preferred, especially in PLC/HMI, control circuits, high voltage electrical maintenance, mechanical repairs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic tools.
• Proficient in computer skills.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems.
• Experience in plastics or blow molding is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot, assemble, and disassemble equipment, and read technical specifications.
