This position is responsible for completing Prolacta’ s manufacturing processes without assistance while strictly adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP’ s), Environmental Health & Safety guidelines, and other regulations that apply. The incumbent is responsible for following daily job assignments in support of production activities such as manufacturing of bulk human milk concentrate, addition of mineral, pasteurization and filling, labeling printing and packaging operation, and equipment cleaning.

How you will contribute

· Support problem-solving small group activities and assist in resolving non conformances or root cause analysis.
Effectively tests and detects problem using a variety of methods and approaches
· Assist in engineering study and validation runs.
Other duties and responsibilities
Ability to perform the following production activities without assistance:
o Thawing and pooling of raw milk
o Aseptic sampling
o Preparation of cleaning solutions
o Operation of mixers
o Operation of chart recorders
o Disassembly and assembly of process equipment
o Cleaning and sanitizing of Facility and Equipment
o Packaging of products.
o Set up and operation of separators
o Handling, storage and use of intermediates
o Operate milk analyzing equipment
o Adjustment and formulation of all products
o Set up and operation of filter skid
o Milk filtration process
o Operation of CIP skid
o Cleaning, Operation, and testing of the Ultrafiltration skid
o Mineral calculation and addition
o Filling machine operation
o Aseptic sampling of water system and finished goods
This position requires teaching and assisting other entry level technicians.
What you bring to the role
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum 2-years ’ experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing cleanroom facility at a Technician position.
Must be able to work on assignments with minimal supervision.
Must have experience working with process equipment such as processing tanks, heat/chill systems, pumps, separators, ultrafiltration skids, chart recorders, CIP systems, autoclaves, and automated filling units.
Qualifications
Follow approved run sheet and forms to complete manufacturing operation
Good oral and writing communication skill
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices including Good Documentation Practices
General manufacturing process understanding, control of time, speed, temperature, pressure, etc.)
Timely report of non-conformance and follow escalation procedure
Ability to operate and maintain in a safe working environment
