Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Technician in Indianapolis, IN for a contract-to-hire role. You will assemble electronic assemblies, wire harnesses, and PCB components, using hand and power tools in a temperature-controlled facility on first shift.

The company emphasizes training, cross-training, and professional growth, with a strong safety and quality focus. You will read blueprints, interpret schematics, and work with tools and drawings to build data and power infrastructure products.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools in a production or similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Experience with PCB assembly and soldering.
• Experience pulling wire and assembling wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble production components according to specifications and work instructions.
• Use hand and power tools safely to perform assembly tasks.
• Read blueprints and drawings to ensure accurate wiring and assembly.
• Perform PCB assembly including soldering of components.
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and adherence to specs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
