Job Overview

The Aerospace, Defense & Marine (AD&M) business unit of TE, part of the Industrial Solutions segment, is a global leader in designing electrical interconnection solutions for extreme environments. We are seeking a Robotics Electrical Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems used in robotic or automated assembly cells. The ideal candidate has experience in electronics manufacturing, a strong understanding of robotics components, and the ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of robotic electrical systems, including mechanical and electrical diagnostics.
  • Assist in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
  • Support installation and calibration of robotic components, including motors, PLCs, and embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineers in the design, development, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
  • Interpret and create technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software.

This position requires access to information controlled under International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be:

  • A U.S. lawful permanent resident
  • A person granted asylee or refugee status in the U.S.
What your background should look like:
  • Education: Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in electrical manufacturing, preferably in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with robotic systems, motion control, and industrial automation components.
  • Experience with electrical testing tools and troubleshooting techniques for robotic systems.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, PLCs, microcontrollers, and motor drivers is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical and robotic assembly.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $67,400–$101,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
