Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Mechanical Manufacturing Technician to join our team. This role involves assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and electronic systems in robotic or automated assembly cells. The ideal candidate has experience in electronics manufacturing, a strong understanding of robotics components, and the ability to interpret technical schematics and blueprints.

This Position Requires Access To Information Controlled Under International Traffic In Arms Regulations (ITAR) And Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants Must Be:

  • A U.S. citizen or national
  • A U.S. lawful permanent resident
  • A person granted asylee or refugee status in the U.S.
Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.
  • Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting of robotic electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues.
  • Assist in installing and calibrating robotic components, including motors, PLCs, and embedded systems.
  • Support mechanical engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems.
  • Interpret and create technical drawings and schematics using CAD software.
  • Collect and analyze data to support engineering decisions and design improvements.
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment.
  • Support prototype development and product testing.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Document test results, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to optimize mechanical processes.
  • Maintain adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Keep tools, equipment, and workspaces organized.
  • Stay updated on industry advancements and participate in training programs.
Qualifications
  • Education: Associate degree, technical diploma, or certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 2+ years in electrical manufacturing, preferably in robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with robotic systems, motion control, and industrial automation components.
  • Experience with electrical testing tools and troubleshooting robotic systems.
  • Understanding of embedded systems, PLCs, microcontrollers, and motor drivers is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to operate and maintain mechanical tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Knowledge of safety and quality regulations in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong computer skills for documentation and reporting.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive base salary: $67,400–$101,200 (dependent on location and experience)
  • Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentives + Benefits
