Job summary

Spectra Logic in Boulder, CO is seeking a Manufacturing Technician IV to troubleshoot internal failures, test electromechanical assemblies, and drive root-cause analysis for field returns. You will collaborate across manufacturing, quality, warehousing, planning, and engineering to improve processes and documentation, while using ERP and JIRA to track progress.

The role requires self-motivation, adherence to procedures, and the ability to run multiple builds in parallel; hybrid work is available

Qualifications

• Experience working with electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to plan workload and run multiple builds in parallel.
• Adept at following detailed procedures and quality checks.
• Strong collaboration with multiple departments including engineering and quality.
• Experience using ERP systems and JIRA for tracking.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot failures and analyze customer returns to root cause.
• Provide feedback to engineering and management to improve processes and tools.
• Use test software and ERP to track testing and inventory status.
• Build and test electromechanical assemblies for robotics and power systems.
• Enter escalations and solutions into JIRA.
• Participate in new product launches and prototype builds.

Manufacturing Technician IV

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting internal failures and customer returned products from the field to drive to root cause and establish preventative actions
• Provide meaningful feedback to engineering and management team on improvements to our process, documentation, tools, and test equipment
• Utilize test software and ERP systems to track progress of testing and inventory status
• Building and Testing electromechanical assemblies for our robotics and power systems products.
• Entering escalations and solutions into JIRA, our data tracking and failure history system.
• Participating in new product launches and prototype builds.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with many departments including manufacturing, quality, warehousing, purchasing, planning, shipping, and engineering
• Self-motivated and able to plan own workload to keep multiple different builds and tests going in parallel
• Able to follow detailed procedures and perform quality checks as necessary.
• Flexibility and team player mentality. We all work together to get the job done, whatever it may be.
• Must have prior experience working with electronic assemblies in a Manufacturing environment.

In office 5 days a week

Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered

Compensation

$23.75 - 28.50/ hour. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate’s actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and experience within the range.
