Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Night Shift Operator to operate and maintain sophisticated manufacturing equipment in our life sciences facility, producing Liqui-Cel Contactors. Join a team committed to safety, quality, and rapid problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

You will follow GMP standards, wear required PPE, and collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues. The role is 3rd shift, 10:00pm–6:00am, Monday–Friday with possible overtime and occasional

Compensation

• $21.93/hr starting wage + 15% Shift Differential
• PTO + health and welfare benefits starting day 1

Shift Information

• 3rd Shift/Overnights- 10:00pm - 6:00am
• Monday - Friday
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Occasional weekend shifts required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with continuous extrusion or textile knitting operations beneficial
• Experience in collaborating with safety and quality regulations

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and operating machinery. The work environment is dynamic and may include exposure to various temperatures and noise levels.
