Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Second Shift Manufacturing Associate to operate and maintain equipment in our Liqui-Cel Contactors production line. You will follow safety and quality protocols and collaborate with a tight-knit team to troubleshoot and resolve issues in a fast-paced facility.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or related experience preferred.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Compensation

• $21.93/hr starting wage + 10% Shift Differential
• PTO + health and welfare benefits starting day 1

Shift Information

2nd Shift/Afternoon- 2:00pm - 10:00pm (8 hours)

• Monday - Friday
• Must be willing to work overtime
• Occasional weekend shifts required

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.

Experience

• Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field preferred
• Familiarity with continuous extrusion or textile knitting operations beneficial
• Experience in collaborating with safety and quality regulations

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
