Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Assembly Operator to perform precise assembly duties for a range of balls, tubes, and drains. You will follow SOPs, read prints, and participate in building products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will set up equipment, inspect finished components, document work orders, and support daily production schedules in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma required.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Willing to train others when requested.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Assemble components to build product according to SOPs by reading prints, using basic math, and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly/build.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Visually inspect and test all products for conformance using inflation pressure, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Document completed and incomplete work orders and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
