Job summary

Oatey is hiring an Assembly Technician in Shakopee, MN to demonstrate proficiency in assembling a variety of components, testing products, and maintaining quality. You will read prints, measure parts, and prepare materials for daily builds in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and strong math, communication, and mechanical aptitude. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills required.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery and read blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble components to build product according to SOPs by reading prints, using basic math, and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly/build.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Visually inspect and test all products for conformance using inflation pressure, gauges, and other measuring devices.
• Document completed and incomplete work orders and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
