Job summary

Oatey is seeking an assembly-oriented team member in Shakopee, MN. This role involves assembling components for various products, following SOPs, and meeting daily build goals at a manufacturing site.

Candidates should have basic math and reading skills, good communication, and 1–2 years in manufacturing. High School diploma preferred. Compensation ranges from $15.71 to $24.35 per hour, depending on experience and internal review.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.

• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
