Job summary

Nortech Systems Inc is seeking an Assembler I to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling high-quality components for lifesaving products, reading build instructions, and performing a range of assembly tasks with careful attention to detail.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED and ability to follow both written and oral instructions, with some related experience preferred. OSHA safety and quality procedures are a key part of daily work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one month of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reading, understanding, and accurately following written instructions.
• Listening and following oral instructions.
• Using electronic devices and computing systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic assembly tasks at a proficiency level and quality standard as required by the plant.
• Read and accurately follow written build instructions to perform assigned operations.
• Perform operations as defined in product documentation to build and/or assemble components, including assembling, crimping, and preparing.
• Operate hand tools and equipment to complete tasks and follow work instructions.
• Maintain assembly records and follow safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
