Job summary

TSI Incorporated in Shoreview, MN is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electronic assemblies in a manufacturing environment, interfacing with engineering and production teams to ensure 100% performance and on-time shipping.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of technician experience; Electronic Technology AA degree preferred with 3+ years experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 5+ years relevant Technician experience.
• Electronic Technology AA degree or Certificate preferred with 3+ years relevant experience.
• In lieu of technical degree, 2-3 years of electrical or computer engineering coursework with 3+ years relevant experience.
• Experience testing, diagnostics, trouble shooting and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical devices to component level is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies to component level.
• Analyze errors in electronic design and production.
• Provide advice and feedback on corrective actions.
• Provide technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
• Work with engineering on functionality issues and new products.
• Improve setup, calibration and test procedures for equipment orders.
• Provide training to new build and service assemblers.
• Communicate with engineering on product performance issues.
• Assist the Technical support group with customer needs.
• Edit and query Microsoft Database.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
