Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Livermore, CA, is hiring a Manufacturing Technician 2 to join a cleanroom team. You will operate and maintain production equipment, monitor processes, and work with engineers on experiments to improve yields.

The role includes coaching junior technicians and adhering to safety and quality standards. The position requires 1–2 years of related experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with basic software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of related experience in manufacturing or technician roles.
• Experience operating in a cleanroom environment and following procedures.
• Ability to document data accurately and work with engineers on experiments.

Responsibilities

• Perform production activities in a cleanroom following safety procedures.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain manufacturing equipment to specifications.
• Monitor processes, collect data, and optimize yields with on-line adjustments.
• Support engineering with tests, trials, and root-cause analysis.
• Coach and train junior technicians to ensure consistency across shifts.
