Job summary

Oatey seeks an assembly-focused associate in Shakopee, MN to handle component assembly, setup, and documentation across diverse product lines. You will follow SOPs, manage daily build schedules, and stage materials for efficient production.

The role prefers 1–2 years in manufacturing, basic math/reading, and willingness to learn blueprints. Eligible candidates enjoy a clear path for growth and comprehensive benefits. Training provided on site.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOP’s by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
