Job summary

Quality Consulting Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production in the Puerto Rico and USA market. You will operate and maintain manufacturing equipment, ensure high quality standards, and collaborate with engineers to drive process improvements.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics, plus experience with instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors. A technical degree and maintenance mindset are essential.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical education preferred.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
Previous experience in Medical Devices manufacturing.
Experience troubleshooting and diagnostics of automated systems, pneumatics, and electro-pneumatics.
Knowledge of instrumentation, lasers, vision systems, and motors.
Experience with preventive maintenance.
Basic computer repair and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Technician operates and maintains manufacturing equipment to uphold the highest quality standards.
Monitors production activities, troubleshoots issues, and supports process improvements with attention to detail and safety.
Devises, fabricates, installs, tests, and repairs mechanical equipment and systems involving movement of components.
Assists engineers with developing technical solutions related to operation and performance of devices and systems.
Installs, repairs, and upgrades components of mechanical devices and systems in the manufacturing area.
Devises, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components for machinery and equipment.
Conducts quality assurance/control tests and procedures.
