Job summary

Indium Corporation in Rome, NY seeks a Manufacturing Technician I to provide in-cell technical support for production processes. The role collaborates with production operators, supervisors, and engineers to resolve day-to-day issues and improve procedures.

The position runs on the 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm), in Rome, NY, and requires a high school diploma or GED with a technical background. This is a full-time role with a comprehensive rewards package and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Associates degree in a technical field preferred
• Hands-on mechanical knowledge and experience
• Clear, organized and professional communication in written and oral form
• Ability to operate virtual meeting platforms
• High energy and drive; electrical/software development knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time in-cell technical support and training for manufacturing processes
• Support Production Operators and Supervisors to resolve day-to-day issues
• Verify and implement manufacturing procedures and work instructions
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to improve processes
• Monitor equipment functionality and participate in installation and qualification
• Communicate status and issues to mentors and managers
• Assist with projects managed by Engineering and participate in problem solving
