Oerlikon is seeking a Technician for its Elgin facility. You will handle, transport, and load materials; operate production equipment; inspect and pack products; track downtime; and log records.

The role emphasizes adherence to HSE and Quality standards, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives as part of our core culture. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a strong total compensation package as outlined by the company, with first-day eligibility and ongoing growth

Formación

• High School graduate or GED or equivalent experience.
• Able to stand for 9+ hours.
• Lifts up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 35 lbs frequently.

Responsabilidades

• Performs production operations to support the manufacturing process.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
• Must be able to work as part of a team.
• Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards.
• Understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
