Job summary

Spartan Emergency Response (Spartan ER) is seeking a plumber to join its team. The role involves cutting, threading, bending, joining, and installing pipes, valves and fittings, while reading drawings and pressure gauges to ensure leak-free systems.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of plumbing experience and a high school diploma or GED, with strong teamwork and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1-2 years of plumbing experience.
• Preferred high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and understand plumbing drawings within the first 90 days of employment.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
• Ability to use common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and threading pipes using pipe cutters, cutting torch and pipe threading machine.
• Bend pipes to required angle using bending tools or by hand.
• Join pipes with screws, bolts, fittings, solder and caulk joints.
• Assemble and install valves, pipe fittings, and pipes.
• Read pressure gauges to check for leaks and ensure system integrity.
