Job summary

SE&M Constructors, LLC is seeking an industrial plumber to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain and repair plumbing systems in industrial settings. The role involves piping, valves, fittings, fixtures, and equipment for water, waste, chemicals, or gases.

You will read drawings, measure precisely, follow NC Plumbing Codes, supervise helpers, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering reliable plumbing solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.
• Strong understanding of NC Plumbing Codes and industry standards.
• Mechanical aptitude with understanding of piping systems and materials.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair plumbing systems carrying fluids in industrial settings.
• Layout, install, maintain underground and above-ground pipe systems and supports.
• Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, trenchers, skid steers) and related equipment.
• Use pipe tools and joining methods to connect pipes by brazing, soldering, cementing or threading.
• Install plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, water heaters) and diagnose leaks or faults.
• Interpret blueprints and test systems for leaks or pressure issues; supervise helpers.
