Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Assembly Technician in Shakopee, MN to assemble components for plumbing products. The role involves reading SOPs, following daily schedules, preparing materials, and setting up equipment for the day’s build, with opportunities to order materials and document production progress.

Candidates should have basic math and good communication skills, and be able to read blueprints or learn. High school diploma preferred; 1–2 years in manufacturing is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
