Job summary

Oatey is hiring a 3rd shift Manufacturing Technician I for Small Ball Testing in Shakopee, MN. You will assemble components, follow SOPs, and maintain daily production schedules while reading blueprints and measuring with accuracy.

The role requires basic math, strong communication, and the ability to operate machinery. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is expected.

Qualifications

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery and read blueprints or willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOPs by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
