Job summary

Bridgeways Everett is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to support basic assembly of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components in a structured manufacturing environment. You will follow instructions, learn aerospace assembly practices, and operate under direct supervision.

Responsibilities include kitting, assembly, part marking, and packaging while adhering to safety and quality standards. Prioritize accuracy, learn quickly, and maintain organized work instructions and blueprints.

$28.38 - $29.85/ hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Kitting
  • Prepare and assemble all necessary parts and materials for electrical components, ensuring all items meet the specifications required for the assembly process.
  • Verify the accuracy of kits and components before assembly, ensuring that all items are present and meet quality standards.
  • Label and organize kits to ensure ease of access and proper tracking.
Assembly
  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, or electronic components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Perform tasks such as torquing, grinding, wiring, fastening, and installing components into final product assemblies.
  • Ensure that all parts are correctly aligned and securely attached during the assembly process.
  • Ability to use solvents safely, use PPE appropriately, and learn how to read MSDS sheets
Part Marking
  • Review manufacturing drawings, work order instructions, and customer specifications to determine part marking requirements.
  • Set up and operate the part marking machine and apply permanent or temporary markings to parts with high accuracy.
  • Handle Part marking chemicals (inks, cleaning solvents) following MSDS and safety guidelines.
  • Visual inspection to verify the accuracy and legibility of markings.
Packaging
  • Read and interpret work orders, packing instructions, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
  • Package parts and assemblies using appropriate materials to prevent damage during handling and transit.
  • Ensure packaging complies with customer-specific packaging standards.
  • Inspect parts for cleanliness or visible damage before packaging and labeling

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required.
  • Able to perform essential duties with guidance and support as needed.
  • Capable of learning and retaining basic operational tasks from shift to shift with minimal re‑training.
  • Willing and able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understands the importance of following quality standards to help produce consistent, reliable products.
  • Able to recognize, count, and sort parts by size and shape with accuracy.
  • Can use basic measurement tools, such as weight and dimensional scales, with instruction.
  • Basic computer skills preferred, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and email; training can be provided.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
  • Must be able to pass Background check in accordance with Customer Guidelines and Requirements.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Language Skills
  • Ability to document assembly steps and test results in written logs or electronic systems.
  • Can effectively interpret and apply labeling and documentation standards per customer and aerospace contract requirements.
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable communicating with peers and leads to clarify instructions, elevate issues, or report non‑conformances.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Visual acuity is required for reading drawings, inspecting parts, and working with small components under magnification if needed.

  • Employees may be exposed to moderate to high noise levels, moving mechanical equipment, airborne particles, and temperature variations typical of a production setting.

  • Compliance with safety protocols is essential, and proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times in designated areas.
