Job summary

HSM (Hickory Springs Manufacturing) Monticello seeks a hands-on production worker to support across production, fabrication and assembly, operating manual, semi-automatic and CNC machinery.

You will move materials, stage at stations, help with cycle counts, maintain 5S standards, and contribute to continuous improvement while meeting quality standards. This is a full-time, on-site role with competitive benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to learn and operate different types of equipment.
• Basic understanding of production processes and material flow.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Work across production, fabrication, and assembly processes.
• Operate a variety of equipment including manual, semi-automated, and CNC machinery.
• Move raw materials and finished goods to support production needs.
• Stage materials at workstations to keep operations running efficiently.
• Support cycle counts and inventory accuracy efforts.
• Organize materials to ensure easy access and efficient workflow.
• Communicate shortages or discrepancies to the team.
• Identify and report defects or issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace aligned with 5S standards.
• Step in where needed to support production goals.
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency and workflow.
