Job summary

Oatey in Shakopee, Minnesota is seeking a manufacturing assembler to perform assembly tasks for a range of products. You will read SOPs, follow the daily schedule, and assemble components, stage materials, and document product status in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include basic math and communication skills, ability to operate machinery, and reading blueprints or willingness to learn. A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred; 1–2 years in manufacturing is beneficial.

• Decision-making skills.
• One to two years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or Assemble components according to SOP’s by reading, understanding and following procedures.
• Follow daily schedule for assembly.
• Prepare and assemble components and materials as needed for daily schedule build.
• Order raw materials where appropriate.
• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.
• Stage Product and label where appropriate.
• Document completed and incomplete product.
• Other duties as assigned.
