Job description

Position Description

Uses advanced technical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment. Performs all duties associated with the setup of a variety of production equipment to produce quality products.

Job Responsibilities

1. Instructs, monitors, and communicates requirements for safety, quality, and production.
2. Performs duties related to automation, robotics, and machine shop fabrication.
3. Collaborates with engineers and outside vendors to resolve complex process or equipment issues efficiently and cost-effectively.
4. Maintains statistical process charts, interprets data, and performs trend analysis to adjust processes or equipment for quality compliance.
5. Trains employees, assigns and directs work, provides feedback to supervisors, and addresses employee concerns.
6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• May need to lift or carry products, parts, or materials weighing between 5-75 pounds, occasionally more.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly over an 8-12 hour shift.
• Capability to perform pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching during shifts.
• Use of power and vibrating tools throughout shifts.
• Operate motorized vehicles during shifts.
• Work in environments with noise levels requiring hearing protection.
