Job Title: Manufacturing Technician – 3rd Shift AssemblyJob Description

The Manufacturing Technician – 3rd Shift Assembly works within a high-quality manufacturing environment to produce assembly and fill/finish products that consistently exceed quality specifications. This role operates in both standard production areas and cleanrooms, following strict procedures, safety practices, and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates with multiple work groups to complete daily production goals, handles temperature-sensitive materials, and operates manual and automated equipment while maintaining GMP, ISO, and FDA compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Work individually and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment to ensure products meet or exceed quality specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with several work groups to coordinate and complete daily production activities.
  • Perform assembly and production tasks in both standard manufacturing and cleanroom environments while adhering to area-specific PPE requirements.
  • Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Safely operate pallet jacks to move materials and finished goods within the facility.
  • Handle and process temperature-sensitive materials following established policies and procedures, including work in cold storage environments.
  • Follow GMP, ISO, and FDA standards related to manufacturing operations, including documentation, quality control, and safety compliance.
  • Complete all required training on time and apply training to daily work activities to maintain compliance and high performance.
  • Adhere to SOPs and production documentation requirements to ensure accurate records of manufacturing activities.
  • Maintain cleanroom standards, including proper gowning, PPE use, and contamination control practices.
  • Support fill/finish manufacturing operations, including preparation, filling, and packaging of products.
  • Monitor equipment and processes, report issues promptly, and assist in basic troubleshooting where appropriate.
  • Meet production deadlines by working efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Follow safety protocols when working with chemicals, biological materials, and other hazardous substances.
  • May be required to perform as a work-order lead, coordinating tasks and supporting team members to complete assigned work orders.
  • May perform other related duties as required and/or assigned to support manufacturing operations.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or cleanroom environments.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including the ability to perform metric conversions.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow written and verbal procedures accurately.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for interaction with team members and other work groups.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet production deadlines.
  • Capability to safely operate manual and automated filling equipment following established procedures.
  • Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and handle materials in a manufacturing setting.
  • Comfort working in cleanroom environments while adhering to PPE and contamination control requirements.
  • Ability to handle temperature-sensitive materials and work in cold storage environments.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods as needed for production work.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience working in GMP, ISO, or FDA-regulated environments.
  • Experience operating automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Experience using pipettes in a production or laboratory setting.
  • Knowledge of GMP compliance, including documentation, quality control, and audit readiness.
  • Familiarity with cleanroom operations, including gowning procedures and environmental controls.
  • Understanding of fill/finish manufacturing processes and production workflows.
  • Experience with quality control practices and adherence to SOPs.
  • Ability to follow PPE requirements and safety protocols consistently.
  • Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Interest in gaining experience in kit production, large-scale manufacturing, and regulated environments.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a science-related field is welcomed but not required.
  • Willingness to learn and take advantage of training and advancement opportunities in a global, growth-oriented environment.
Work Environment

This role is based in a cleanroom and manufacturing setting on the 3rd shift, working Monday through Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The work environment includes both standard production areas and controlled cleanrooms, requiring strict adherence to PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, gowning, and lab coats. Technicians may work with chemicals, biological materials, and other hazardous substances under well-defined safety protocols. The position involves handling temperature-sensitive materials and exposure to cold storage environments as low as -22°F (-6°C). Work is fast-paced and deadline-driven, with a focus on GMP, ISO, and FDA-regulated manufacturing. The environment supports growth and advancement, offering training in kit production, large-scale manufacturing, and regulated operations while maintaining a professional, safety-conscious culture.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
