Job summary

BioHorizons in Hoover, AL seeks a Manufacturing Technician to support the 2pm-11pm shift. You will manage cases for Vulcan Custom Dental and both lab and clinical customers, processing daily orders to customer specifications, including participation with products and process validations.

You will perform CAM processing of dental prostheses, support manufacturing with QA systems, and coordinate with management on workflow and capacity.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills required.
• Machining background (prefer Haas controls).
• Comfortable in a production environment with quotas.
• Experience with working within a Quality System is preferred.

Overview

This position works Monday - Friday from 2pm-11pm. The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, managing cases for Vulcan Custom Dental and both laboratory and clinical customers. This role processes daily orders to customer specifications, including participation with products and process validations. Secondary activities include customer support related to manufacturing of devices and supporting other digital dentistry manufacturing initiatives as established with the manager.

• Ensure established turnaround times for products are achieved
• Perform CAM processing of dental prostheses per customer specifications

• Work with outside suppliers as needed

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills required
• Machining background desired (preferable Haas controls)
• Must be comfortable in a production environment where production quotas are mandated
• Experience with working within a Quality System is preferred

Education and/or Experience

• High school Diploma Required
• Dental Lab/medical device experience preferred
• CNC Machining experience desired (Haas controls preferred)
