Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Higher Level Assembly Technician to assess, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. This role acts as a technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus’s assembly operations.

Key responsibilities include executing high-quality manufacturing solutions, applying process improvements, and supporting production lines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Executes manufacturing solutions that are high-quality and cost-appropriate, satisfying customer requirements.
• Applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it relates to the role.
• Uses tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, or production as needed.
• Supports the full Plexus manufacturing processes and product requirements.
• Provides support to direct production line operators as applicable.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $67,900.00

Work Shift: This shift helps cover operations on our 2nd Shift which works Monday- Friday 2pm-10pm.

Purpose Statement:

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications:

• Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
