Job summary

Plexus Corp. is seeking a Higher Level Assembly Technician in Nampa, Idaho.

The role focuses on assessing, implementing, and maintaining manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes within the Focus Factory Team to improve efficiency, accuracy, and safety in Plexus’s assembly operations. The position requires an Associate’s Degree with 1+ years of related experience; equivalent combinations will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Executes manufacturing solutions and provides high-quality, cost-appropriate services that meet customer requirements and apply process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to the role.
• Uses appropriate tools to perform work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to the role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support Plexus Manufacturing processes and product requirements & specifications.
• Supports production line operators and follows good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes.
• Shows a basic understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation as it applies to the role.

Job description

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level.

Salary Range: $45,300.00 - $67,900.00

Work Shift: This shift helps cover operations on our B Shift which works every other Saturday night from 6pm-6am and every Sunday, Monday and Tuesday night from 6pm-6am.

The shift is eligible for a 10% shift differential.

Purpose Statement

The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Executes Manufacturing solutions/ Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
• Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
• Demonstrates a basic, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications as it applies to their role.
• Successfully executes responsibilities under supervision in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
• Basic Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.

Education/Experience Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree with 1 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
