Job summary

Plexus Corp in Neenah, WI, seeks a Manufacturing Technician to assess, implement, and maintain manufacturing procedures for complex assembly processes. You will be a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, driving efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus assembly operations.

The role requires an Associate's Degree with 2+ years' experience. You will support production line operators, apply process improvements, and ensure compliance with Plexus' manufacturing

  • Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes manufacturing solutions that are high quality and cost-appropriate.
  • Provides services with technical specialty and applies process improvement or troubleshooting.
  • Uses tools to create, analyze, and verify documentation, programs, models, and production.
  • Demonstrates understanding of Plexus manufacturing processes and product specs across disciplines.
  • Supports production line operators and adheres to GMP and Plexus processes.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range: $46,200.00 - $69,200.00

Purpose Statement: The Manufacturing Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.

Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Develops / executes Manufacturing solutions / Provide services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.
  • Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline-specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes / Product Requirements & Specifications / cross discipline OR supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
  • Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' Manufacturing Processes AND provide support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.
  • Comprehensive Understanding of Equipment / Process control / Safety / Risk Awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
