Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing with equipment used for high-volume production.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion & blow-molding equipment in a clean, safe, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor equipment and adjust settings to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensure Plastipak customer specifications by performing quality checks on bottle weights and dimensions.
• Collaborate with the team on continuous improvement focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction.

As a Manufacturing Technician, You Will

• Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment
• Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
• Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
• Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions
• Join with your team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction

This Is A Great Fit If You Have

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment working with equipment used for high-volume production
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

Pay & Shift

• Pay & Shift $20.00/hr - $22.00/hr (Depending on experience)
• 2nd: 3:50pm-12:00am ($1 shift differential)
• 3rd: 11:50p-8:00am ($1 shift differential)
