Job summary

Plastipak Packaging, Inc is seeking a Process Technician to operate extrusion and blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You’ll monitor processes, adjust settings, perform routine preventive maintenance, and ensure bottles meet weight and dimensional specifications.

This full-time role offers 12-hour shifts on a rotating 3-2-2-3 schedule with a starting pay of $24.50 per hour plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician in a high-volume setting.
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate extrusion & blow-molding equipment in a clean, climate-controlled environment.
• Monitor and adjust process settings (heat, cooling, hydraulics) to meet quality specs.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
• Ensure bottle weights and dimensions meet customer specifications.

As a Process Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands. As a Process Technician, You Will:

• Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment
• Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers
• Troubleshoot equipment & perform routine preventative maintenance
• Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions

This Is A Great Fit If You Have:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Process Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production
• Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred
• Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge
• Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve

Pay & Shift Nights: 6:30pm-7:00am (3-2-2-3 Schedule) $24.50+/hr, depending on exprience
