WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- Identify and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime for manufacturing-related issues.
- Support implementation and validation of new equipment and technology. Evaluate and order essential tools and fixtures to promote safety and efficiency for production team members.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives and participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Assist with new product launches and process development. Recommend product improvements and maintain standard drawings and work instructions.
- Support manufacturing of custom/standard product bills, routings, and supplemental data.
- Provide documentation for estimating the cost of materials and labor of manufactured products.
- Understand product complexity and equipment requirements to select appropriate manufacturing line/processes.
- Collaborate with multi-functional team members on capital planning and acquisition projects.
YOU HAVE:
- High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent experience; 2-year or 4-year degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to think analytically.
- Ability to show initiative, be a self-starter, and work with minimal supervision.
- Adaptability to rapidly changing business circumstances and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Office, JD Edwards, SolidWorks, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to document processes in work instruction format.
- Knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturability) to provide input for new and existing products.
- Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement projects.
- No corrective actions or performance improvement plans within six months of the job posting opening date.
- No decision-making leaves within 12 months of the job posting opening date.
- Most recent performance rating of Meets Expectations or higher.
- Successfully completed six months in current job classification or career advancement classification.

Pay Transparency: Our pay scale is based on the expected range for this role, considering location, knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Compliance with minimum wage laws is maintained.
Compensation Range: $20.40 - $37.80 per hour. Eligible for additional compensation such as annual incentives depending on the role.
