Job summary

VIAVI Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing/Production Technician to perform set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies on site in Chandler, AZ.

The role includes developing test specifications from blueprints, documenting findings with technical reports, and assisting in selecting and setting up specialized test equipment while collaborating with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Determines and may develop test specifications from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

• Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings and diagrams
• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment
