Job summary

VIAVI Solutions in Chandler, AZ is recruiting a Manufacturing/Production Technician responsible for set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, and assemblies. You will develop test specifications from blueprints and diagrams and prepare technical reports.

The role requires a GED or higher and 2+ years of related experience; you will work under supervision and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• GED/High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Duties include set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
• Determines test specs/methods from blueprints, drawings and diagrams.
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommendations.

• Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems
• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing
• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems
• May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
