Job Description

The Manufacturing Technician will assist the team in preparing small batches of material for commercialization. The role involves starting the day with a team meeting to set daily goals, running products, and processing customer products. Responsibilities include using pig glands to extract enzymes and utilizing lab equipment such as column chromatography and UV spectrophotometry to scale up products. Tasks will range from ensuring raw materials are on hand, maintaining cleanliness, and monitoring equipment to achieve the desired product consistency. The total manufacturing time for products is approximately 7 weeks, involving various stages such as mixing, extractions, and converting materials into powder form. The position requires the use of pilot scale manufacturing equipment with the goal of commercialization.

Requirements

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Waunakee, WI.

Work Environment

The facility is spread across one floor with areas requiring movement across the plant, including navigating three flights of stairs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
