Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, seeks a Manufacturing Technician in Pittsburgh, PA. You will assemble electronic components from drawings and schematics, perform wire winding, soldering, braising, insulation, wiring, and testing of parts.
The role requires an Associate degree in the relevant technology, soldering/braise experience, ability to read diagrams, and attention to detail. IPC certification is desired, and the company offers growth opportunities.
Spang Engineered Solutions, a division of Spang & Company, has an opening for a Manufacturing Technician at its location in Pittsburgh, PA. This position will be responsible for assembling small to large electronic components from drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
Spang Engineered Solutions designs and manufactures custom inductive components for an array of industries including renewable energy, solar, medical, aerospace, automotive, and military. Our manufacturing locations include Pittsburgh, PA, Phoenix, AZ, McKinney, TX, in the U.S.A., and Xiamen, China.
Key responsibilities include winding wire and foil, soldering wire. braising cooper foil, repairing or replacing defective components, applying insulation, connecting wiring, and testing electrical parts and components. This position will also perform cycle counts of component and finished parts.
Qualifications include an associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, Industrial Automation Technology, or equivalent experience. Candidates should have soldering and braising experience. IPC certification is desired. Candidates must have the ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, and technical manuals and demonstrate strong attention to detail when assembling and testing electronic components.
